What does the Afterschool Program offer?
Games, Creative Projects, Active Gym Time, Messy Projects (that parents don't want to do at home),
Year Round Outside Play, Time With Friends, Homework Help, One on One Time,
plus lots of Smiling, Laughing, Singing, Running, Moving, Dancing, and Silliness...

The Afterschool Program for grades k - 4 is located at the Brewer Auditorium conveniently located at
318 Wilson Street. The bus will drop the children off at the Auditorium each day around 3:00 p.m.  We start our day by taking attendance and providing an afternoon snack.  Three activities are offered, (from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.), which can include gym games, field games, time at the park, crafts, or a variety of other opportunities.  (For children in grades three and four homework time is offered in our homework room). The day will wrap up with free time from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.On Fridays we have "Goof Off Day" where we offer a large group, team building activity followed with early free time. 

The Afterschool Program for grades 5 and 6 is located at the Brewer Community School located at
92 Pendelton Street.  Students will report to the Afterschool classroom after their last bell.  Students should bring their own snack. There will be mandatory homework time each day in the classroom or they can receive academic support through the school.  Afterschool homework time, students will be able to participate in a variety of projects, or recreation time in the gym, activity room, outside layground areas, or any space that we can utilize!  Parents should pick their child up by 5:30 p.m.

Registrations for the Afterschool Program are accepted on a first come first serve basis at the Brewer Auditorium. Registrations are not accepted on line. 
Returning Afterschool students are given one week priority, followed by new students.
Call our office for the new student sign up date, (to be held during the first of June).

Prerequisites:  The Afterschool Program is available for children who are enrolled grades k - 6.  Children must have the ability to use the restroom with minimal support, be able to follow directions, and have a desire to participate.
